A Revealing Quote

Fundamental, Bible-believing people do not have the right to indoctrinate their children in their religious beliefs because we, the state, are preparing them for the year 2000, when America will be part of a one-world global society and their children will not fit in.”  – Peter Hoagland, Nebraska State Senator, Humanist, speaking in a radio interview in 1983.

…but the state does have a right to indoctrinate them?

  1. Yes, they do. And it’s called public school!

  2. I totally agree that government schools are places of indoctrination. I’m sure you’ll agree, Glenn, that while the state might think this is a ‘right’ it actually is not. Most parents are just blind to that truth because they have been indoctrinated in state-run schools!

Unfortunately, most people in authority seem to agree more with the late, Senator Hoagland than with me. My years as a public school educator can attest to that fact.

Fortunately, we in America, do have the right to educate our children at home. At least for now…

Well, I’m off to indoctrinate my children… 😉

    Blessings!
